Christmas Time Is Here Again
As I’ve done every year for 20 years, I’ll offer you this rare gem that went out in Christmas 1967 to the Beatles’ fan club. Every year from the beginning they sent out something special to their fan club which I’ve assembled for you. So for your enjoyment, a bit of rock and roll silliness to make you smile.
“Christmas Time Is Here Again”
Here are the other Beatle Christmas offerings to their fan club! Great good fun! Very dry humor, some very silly.
The 1963 Beatles Christmas Record
The 1964 Beatles Christmas Record
This begins with the worst aharmonic version of “Yesterday” imaginable.
The 1965 Beatles Christmas Record
They seemed to be getting more far out every year! Unfortunately, The 1966 Christmas record disappeared and has never surfaced.
Here’s the 1967 Beatles Christmas Record. That’s the year they gave us “Christmas Time Is Here Again” which began this celebration.
I found this one minute fragment from The 1968 Beatles Christmas Record this year!
The 1969 Beatles Christmas Record
Last year I had the entire batch 1963-69 on one clip, but this year it’s disappeared. So you’ll just have to enjoy the above links one at a time.
This may or may not be the Christmas interview on Radio Luxembourg, but it’s 45 seconds of the light humor of the Beatles!
The Beatles Interview Backstage at Christmas 1964
They really did have a sense of humor, and made us all feel like the world was a more hopeful place. They were unlike anything before or since.
This year I’ll add a song from the guitarists for this Happy Christmas!
“Happy Xmas (War is Over)”
“Wonderful Christmastime”
To lead us into New Year’s, here’s George’s offering.
“Ding Dong, Ding Dong”
We’ll close with Ringo’s Christmas album, released in 1999! Ringo rocks!
Happy and merry everything, everyone!

Wow! I didn’t join the fan club so I never knew about these…just the one song…thanks for sharing!
Would you kindly request a refund for my subscription to your account? I signed up today, in error (too expensive for me), and then canceled the subscription today -the same day. My bank account has a been charged $70.00! I hope you can help me. It is so difficult to deal with substack directly and the chatbot advised me to contact you directly through your account to authorize the refund. This was the only way I knew how to reach you. Many thanks.
